Hilton is one of the best employers - What hotels can do even more for employer branding with Fair Job Hotels and Code of Values!
Berlin, March 15, 2019 - It is significant that only one company among the top 100 employers, which is plagued by precarious staff shortages, is now on the winners list of the Great Place to Work competition "Germany's Best Employers “, In addition to well-known companies such as Infineon, Gore or Adobe. Although such best rankings are always a piece of (affordable) marketing prices in their pre-selection, methodology and catalogs of criteria, they send a signal: the will to offer "attractive and future-oriented working conditions". In this current competition, the employees of the company are interviewed in detail - of course you only take part in the fact that you can be sure of the approval of your own team. And there is a lot to do for this: reliable shift planning, appreciation and recognition for everyone, fair pay and much more. Apparently, some things were done absolutely right at Hilton in Germany. Congratulations!

The WertFoundation recognized the signs of the times at an early stage and has been propagating more appreciation among each other for ten years now, both in everyday business and in recruiting and leadership. The initiative of MICE experts and hoteliers is currently evolving into a private foundation with the aim of evangelizing honesty in acting and striving as a guide and recommended action. The stumbling block was an unfortunate development in the daily business of the multi-billion dollar conference business: When the price negotiations were too hard and the price was blackmailed, decency fell by the wayside. Bernd Fritzges, renowned MICE top manager and CEO of the highly agile Association of Event Organizers (VDVO), and Heike Klein, Director Key Account Germany in Europe's largest hotel complex, Estrel Berlin, are the initiators of the values success story. With verve and skill, they have been able to inspire more and more fellow campaigners with annual sensational value events. Now the movement is being expanded into a powerful organization.
